terribleWhen Caleb Chance walked out in Detroit five years ago, leaving his band, millions of his fans and his lover behind, Leo knew he could never forgive.

Some things, no matter what the cause, are unforgivable.

But Leo never expected Caleb to show up again, clean and sober and wanting to get their band, Star Shadow, back together. He definitely never expected to agree to Caleb’s plan.

He never expected to confront the love of his life again—or the disaster of his past, the hopelessness of his future, and every terrible thing he’s been carrying inside him.

But maybe some things aren’t so terrible after all.

love takes overProvincetown: Book One

Zach Kelly’s life is a shambles. His boyfriend of three years dumped him, and his writing career is going nowhere. On a whim, he heads to Provincetown, Massachusetts, to nurse his broken heart and figure out his next step. He’s expecting to find rest and relaxation on the sandy beaches of Cape Cod. Instead, Zach meets a hunky porn star during a chance encounter at a leather shop he mistakes as a place to buy a belt that is definitely not for whipping.

Van Pierce is smitten when shy and inexperienced Zach crashes through a shelf of fetish gear. Though Van’s got an insatiable appetite for men on and off the set, his porn persona, Hart Throb, hides a broken heart. He’s struggling to find the reality the porno set doesn’t offer, and Zach is fighting to find the fantasy that will set his writing on fire. The odd goofball and the suave beefcake may either find love amid Provincetown’s colorful pageantry where summer never seems to end—or more heartbreak than either can imagine.

bells and ballsRob Barker had plans for his weekend and they didn’t involve struggling through the pre-Christmas crowds with the five-year-old niece he barely knows. Left with no choice, he grudgingly takes Pearl to see the sights of London but, instead of following the list his sister-in-law gives him, Rob takes her to With A Kick, an ice-cream shop with a difference.

His plan is foiled when he discovers With A Kick is closed for a private children’s party, but the owners kindly let Pearl join in. Rob’s mood improves considerably as he watches Father Christmas hand out presents. Not only is Santa a hot red-head under the beard, he is also one of his rugby team-mates, Mick, a man Rob has always lusted after. After Mick confesses a mutual interest, he agrees to meet Rob at With A Kick’s evening party—where there are definitely no kids – or girls – allowed.

Back from a 19-year absence, Otto has a bevy of big plans in the works. Reese has given him the opportunity to bring positive change to Cheshire–to prove that green is good. But more importantly, Reese has given Otto a chance to win his heart.

Installing solar panels is easy. What’s hard is winning his little brother over while planning a date with Reese that will cement Otto in the life of a man who deserves the world. It’s time to pull out all the stops and set aside the person in Otto who pushes people away.

If it all works out, maybe his brother Luke will accept that Otto is here to stay.

***

There’s no such thing as too good to be true, right?

For once, Reese is excited for the future. Business at the general store is booming, or as booming as any business in secluded Cheshire can be, and his connection with Otto is growing stronger.

After years of being ground down, Reese’s self-confidence is finally making its way to the foreground. If only his best friend Luke could be supportive and happy for him, things might be perfect.

There’s just that one pesky detail about falling for Luke’s worst enemy: his brother.

Golden Boy is the second book in the three-book series, My Best Friend’s Brother. It has a happy-for-now ending, but is NOT self-contained. Golden Boy contains frank discussions about drug use and recovery.

dreamerGarrett Coleman spent most of his adolescence crushing on Finn Sweeney—until that Ultimate Dream Guy image got obliterated during senior year. Garrett’s since gone out of his way to avoid the sexy ginger, instead throwing his energy behind his dance career while supporting his mother through her cancer diagnosis.

Finn Sweeney used to think of Garrett as just his kid brother’s best friend, but after an intense exchange at a high school party, things got a little…weird. Despite that, when their two families decide to get together for the holidays for the first time in years, Finn can’t say no. But he’s fully prepared for this to be awkward as hell.

When Finn and Garrett lay eyes on each other for the first time in their adult lives, all bets are off. Finn is completely captivated by Garrett and getting to know the man he’s become is now his top priority. Playing catch-up with Finn makes Garrett truly see him beyond the childhood fantasy he’s held onto all these years. Finn is real and vulnerable…and hot as hell.

Garrett and Finn can’t seem to keep their hands off each other, so they decide to bury the hatchet between them for the remainder of the visit.

After all, it’s only a holiday fling.

Until it becomes something more.

A beautiful dreamer – a beautiful love story!

I’m a sucker for best friend’s brother romances, so when I found out that’s what this one was, I had to read it. Plus I’m a big fan of Christina’s books!

Ahh, this is such a beautiful story of love and not just between Garrett & Finn, but other members of their families. I especially loved their story though. Loved how they learned to see each other as adults after their shared youth, how they learned to forgive each other & how they learned to be vulnerable with each other so love could turn from a dream to reality.

Filled with family, food and seasonal traditions this one will be added to my annual Christmas reads!

Blurb

Levi’s family knows he needs to find a way out of his funk and be a part of the world again. His brother, Jesse, invites Levi to join him in sunny Spain for the holidays, but a delay at the airport finds Levi at Jesse’s home while his brother is stranded in Scotland. Luckily Alejandro—Alex—is on hand with a key, a friendly smile, and a willingness to keep Levi company. He might even manage to draw Levi out of his shell for some mutual flirting.

Levi surprises himself when he accepts an invitation to spend New Year’s Eve with Alex at Alex’s café, but is he ready for more when it means jumping back into life feetfirst? Besides, with an ocean between them and Alex hiding a part of his life that Levi isn’t sure he can handle, they’ll need their own Three Kings’ Day miracle to stay together.

Excerpt

Another glance up at the clock showed 8:01 p.m. One minute since I last checked. I had no idea what time this thing started, but if I went now, I could meet Alex while it might not be too busy, then pull a Cinderella before the chaos of the countdown and the awkwardness of watching people try to find someone to kiss while I stood on my own.

I patted my pockets for the third time, checking for my cell, wallet, and key, and with no other excuse to stall, headed out.

A huge tent had been set up outside the café with another bar and was already half-filled with people milling around, drinks in hands. I could do this. Make small talk and whatever. Just had to find people who spoke English.

I’d been standing on the sidewalk just staring when Alex wound his way through the crowd and waved me over. My hands unclenched at the sight of him like some dark angel. Short black hair spiked up on top. Plain black button-down shirt that had to be a couple of sizes too small from the way it stretched across his chest, highlighting every curve and dip of his body. Black trousers that did nothing to hide the bulge of his crotch, and I swallowed, trying to get my dry throat to work. What the hell was I doing there? A hookup wasn’t a great idea. There was nothing wrong with looking, though, right? And an added bonus to find out my libido was still alive.

“Hey. You made it.”

The grin splitting his face made me think he was happy I’d shown up, and I held out my hands. “Yep. Here I am.” Yep. Sounding like a total dork. His gaze slowly worked down my body, and all other thoughts fled. Okay, even I couldn’t miss his reaction. And yeah, I wrote stories for a living, but there wasn’t anything imaginary in that look.

“Yes. Here you are.” He slung an arm around my shoulder and dragged me farther into the tent. “Come on. I’ll get you a drink, then introduce you to a few guys.”

I let myself be swept along by the force that was Alex. Even though I didn’t know him well, his presence soothed my nervousness. Like I wasn’t completely alone in a land that was foreign and strange.

About the author

fullsizeoutput_628Beth Laycock’s books are influenced by her time living overseas as well as the gritty, urban landscape of the north of England where she grew up. She has been reading romance since she was old enough to tell herself that line every book lover does—just one more chapter.

As a teenager, she attempted to write her first novel, and many more since then are still gathering dust on her bookshelf. It wasn’t until she discovered the M/M genre that her muse showed up and refused to quit telling her stories about beautiful men finding love together. She hasn’t stopped scribbling them down since. Beth’s muse usually shows up when she is in the shower, is allergic to cleaning, rarely lets her watch TV, and insists she drinks copious amounts of coffee so she can turn caffeine into words.

When not writing or reading, Beth can be found procrastinating on social media or being dragged around the English countryside by her dog Freddie.
